This trip is unusual because Carol and I have traveling companions, a first for us on a cruise (we'll see how it goes - maybe it won't be the last!). Linda and Gayle, friends from the neighborhood, will be with us. Those of you who don't know them will be more than acquainted with them before this trip is over. I already know that I am dreading some parts of that particular adventure. Stay with me, and you will see why. Those of you who followed our last adventure will notice that we have changed the format a bit. This was due to a request from the one known as Itch, asking that it not all be one page. In deference to him and his dial up modem, I am making this cover page. From here, you get to go to the different chapters in the adventure. Breaking it out by day will make for more manageable sections - just remember that we will probably talk about the previous day's jaunt, so things might get a little confused. Too bad! Read along, suffer, and enjoy. And if it gets really bad, maybe we'll make a serial page. We'll see. By the way, Mr. Beecher says that if you have not read the account of our last adventure, you probably should. He says that it might help clarify some things in these chronicles. You have been so advised! So, here is our itnerary for the voyage:
Wednesday, October 25, 2006 - Port of Manhattan
And here is an idea of where we are headed: When there is an entry for that day, the day and port will turn maroon, so you will know to visit. Keep in mind that there may be more than one entry, so keep checking back. For any of you who might want to get a message out to Carol, Linda, Gayle, or myself, the email address is Beachbum@TimethiefSports.com. Feel free to drop me a line. No promises on if we'll actually read it, of course.... So, with that, I shall bid you a fond farewell - for this page, at least. Hopefully, you will enjoy this little travelogue. I have been told that the audience for this journal is going to be a bit bigger than last time around. Of course, last time was rather impromptu, whereas this time I am actually planning out the layout (okay, not too much, but at least I thought about it!). We shall see how it goes. Regardless, I am going to have a great time. With luck, you will be able to come along for the ride. Maybe next time, you will join us, and I can include you in the Chronicle. Keep Smiling!!!
