In 2000, Timethief Photography was created as a wedding and portrait photography studio. What began as a one man shop quickly grew into an award winning eight photographer studio, known for it incredible images. Naturally, this group of talented photographers had wider and more varied interests than just weddings and portraits. One of the studio's Lead Photographers was Michael Beecher, who was the Team Photographer for the Springfield Falcons, the AHL affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning. A decision was made to have Timethief Photography take on the administrative end of the Team Photographer duties, allowing Michael to continue shooting the games and events for the Falcons, and thus was born the Sports Division of Timethief Photography.
The sports side of the Timethief studio has grown to include the commission shooting of individual players, photographing leagues for their team and individual portraits, and in 2006, photographing tournament play and providing prints on location. "We are very excited about the tournament work because it allows us to shoot the games, which we love, but also allows fans the chance to see the images, and if they choose, go home with the prints," commented Peter Toro, owner of Timethief Photography. "Its technically very challenging, but its something we love!" Based in Western Massachusetts, Timethief Photography boasts a full service studio, with the ability to fulfill most orders in house. Their location makes them convenient to all of New England, upstate New York, and the Tri-State area. Timethief Sports offers clients a wide range of print sizes, from wallets to 24" x 48" posters, the ability to deliver prints at events, and an opportunity to make their event a fund raiser for their group.
